ELECTION INFORMATION

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

  

The Office of the Town Clerk conducts and preserves the integrity of all local, state and national elections.  All elections are held in the Strafford Town Hall located behind the Post Office at 12 Mountain View Dr.  The polls open at 8:00 am and close at 7:00pm.   

2019 ELECTION SCHEDULE

       Town Budget Meeting:    February 5th, 6pm at the Town Hall

School Budget Meeting: February 6th, 6pm at Strafford School

School District Meeting: March 6th, 8:30am at the Strafford School

Town Election Day:         March 12, 2019Town Meeting – March 16, 2019

 Annual Town Meeting:   Saturday March 16th

Absentee Ballot request forms for the upcoming election can be printed using the link below and completed in the convenience of your home.  As a registered Strafford voter, you may fax, e-mail, mail, or hand deliver your completed reqiest form to the Strafford Town Clerk, PO Box 169, Strafford, NH 03884.

 Upon receipt of your request, an absentee ballot will be mailed to the address you specify.  Please allow ample time for this process.  Ballots may be returned in person by the voter, the voters spouse, parent, sibling or child.  Ballots must be delivered by 5pm on the day before election.
Mailed ballots must be received by 5pm on Election Day.

 

If you are a UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens) voter, please complete the following 2 forms at the beginning of each calendar year.  This will ensure that you receive ballots for every election that you are eligible to vote in during the year:
