Strafford Recreation

 

Strafford Recreational Organization is a group dedicated to providing affordable and fun sports programs to the children of our town.  Seasonal offerings include soccer, skiing, basketball, baseball, and track. Burn permits are available at the Bow Lake Station at the following times:
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday - 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Wednesday - 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Burn Permits are also available at the Strafford Recycling Center during regular business hours:
Wednesday - 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday/Sunday - 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Burn permits are valid for three days after 5 pm, fire conditions permitting. Please note that permits WILL NOT be issued on class 4 or 5 fire danger days.

Seasonal campfire permits are available upon site inspection only.  To arrange for a site inspection, contact Scott Whitehouse at the Bow Lake Station at 603-664-6863.   Please allow 24 hours for a response and up to 7 days (during high season) for the inspection to take place.
